TESTIMONY ON MY 77TH BIRTHDAY Well today, I have reached the grand old age of Seventy Seven and this is seven years over God’s normally allotted span of seventy years. All my life, the number seven has been my favourite number, even before I found out its Biblical significance. In God’s grace I am well and rejoicing in life with my darling wife Jenny. We shall be celebrating our Golden Wedding Day on the 7th of September next month; our courtship lasted four years, so we have had the experience of 54 years together, for which I thank God. My Christian life began at age fourteen, so now sixty three years on I rejoice in the knowledge that the Lord Jesus Christ my Saviour has kept me secure through many trials and difficulties, despite my own failings. I hope to spend my remaining years sharing life and faith with whomever wants to listen or needs our help, if we can possibly provided it. I rejoice in the gift of my three lovely daughters, Julia Angela and Beverley, who also hold the same beliefs as we do. Then in addition our granddaughters, Jessica, Grace, Amber, Lois and Eleanor; not forgetting my fine son’s in law, Keith, Martin and Stephen. Truly I am blessed by God among men.
