THANK YOU following people for making todays $15 rally a success 1) the HEAVY LIFTERS : Jamie Partridge Justin Norton-Kertson and Mimi Khalili for nearly killing themselves -- and each other-- making this rally possible. 2) The Oregon School Employee Association, for putting their back into the rally with outreach, logistics, etc. 3) Our great speakers ! Ramon Ramirez Anne McDonnell Rebecca Sandoval and others. 4) Our costume maker extraordinaire Kym Gossler Cooke, for making the Wally Walmart and Ronald McDonald outfits. 5) Tobias Green, for his terrifying and disturbingly realistic portrayal of Ronald McDonald. 6) Kristi Wright for helping MC and bringing all the folks from Southern Oregon. 7) The MANY other folks-- like Tamara Kneese, Pattie D. Houlis Wj Chow and Chris Jwj, who volunteered in various ways, or helped by being marshals and table facilitators, etc, all of which made the day a success. After today I have no doubt that Oregon will be the first state to have a $15 minimum wage.
