THANK YOU for the feedback Zianca, we wish you and Jack everything of the best for the future! Initially when Jack and I got engaged, I was quite happy to settle for an elopement. It was only after about two years since our engagement, that Jack convinced me visit some potential wedding venues. I was not thrilled or excited much by any of the places we looked at. I did not experience any of the enthusiasm you normally see in a bride-to-be. However, the moment we set foot on St. Fort, I knew that this place was something special. Jack did not need much convincing, as he is from that part of the country, so he would pretty much have settled for any place in the vicinity. However, we both felt something special and we were both very excited when we left there. Conrad is a miracle worker. We felt comfortable from the first moment we walked into St. Fort. He was accommodating, filled with humour and made you feel like he is your best friend from the moment we met. He also kept assuring us that there is not a single thing we need to worry about. Which was exactly how it was! He is amazing at reading people and getting a feel for their needs and desires. What he pulled off on our wedding day was beyond expectation. On Friday, most of the morning was spent setting up the hall, which was a walk in the park, thanks to Conrads expertise, good eye for small detail and his amazing team! I left much of it in his hands, and he did not disappoint. The tables and the rest of the set-up was beyond our expectations. We also need to need to thank Tino and his team for being so helpful throughout the day. Our Wedding Olympics hosted on the Friday afternoon was great. Everything we needed was at our disposal! The food was amazing, and far better than a normal braai at our house! We could not have been happier. Our wedding was in our view unique, comfortable and cosy! The landscape obviously speaks wonders and one would believe that it would be enough to justify it as a first choice. But it is much, much more than that! Every single detail was an immaculate representation of us! The whole wedding day ran smoothly and wonderfully. We had the time of our lives and had some karaoke going till 4 in the morning! The food was some of the best we have had in our lives, and friends and family are still raving about the day as much as we are! We cannot imagine this day having been any better! Thanks for making it so wonderful. We also want to put in a good word for our photographer, Glen Green, who was recommended by St. Fort (as one of their suppliers). He was incredible! He made us feel so comfortable and was so easy to get along with. Our pictures were available within a week, which is unheard of from wedding photographers! They did not disappoint. He knows St. Fort on the palm of his hands. I doubt we could have made a better choice in that regard. St. Fort.. You will see us soon again!
