THANK YOU to the wonderful customers who come to Metro, you dont understand how much we appreciate your support. If it wasnt for the kind words and continual support we wouldnt be where we are today! I dont normally publicly share information like this but I feel the need.. My name is Ellie and Im currently the Manager of Metro Cinemas. We had a pretty unpleasant experience today because somebody wasnt happy that they couldnt use a free pass to a film on the NFT list. We do not make the rules! Film distributors would be extremely unhappy if we were giving free tickets away to their films when they are first released. This is why we always date complimentary passes (which we kindly donate to schools, fundraisers and other local businesses) 12 months to ensure people have enough time to use them. Some people do not realise we are a TINY FAMILY business, when I say tiny, I mean it! My parents have given up so much to run this cinema, so when I see it get thrown back into their faces it really hits hard. We love running this cinema, we do, but every now and again you will get someone who pushes you past breaking point. We go out of our way to accommodate our patrons and I honestly think our service is 100% better than the bigger cinemas. We put in so much effort because we believe everybody deserves to experience the magic of movies hence why we keep our movie tickets & candy bar prices low. Kind regards, Ellie :)
