ON THE BACK SIDE IT SAYS In Commemoration of the Administration Center/ Training Facility/ and Parts Distribution Center Grand Opening August 94 and has a GOLD STAMP 0429 below. Above this is has the John Deere plow with the John Deere Logo on the handle. The gold purity cannot be checked without destroying the MINT condition of the coin, but the John Deere Company in Moline has said it is gold. The Gold weight on the medallion is worth the asking price of the Medallion, but the Value of the medallion itself is far beyond the Gold Weight Value, plus the fact that in all of Google Images and on All of Google Search there is not one other medallion like this one, which makes it a RARE find. The weight of the medallion is about 12 oz. which is rather heavy for a medallion of its size and thickness, which validates the gold also.
