THANKS Rachel Watts from Northland Nutrition! *Making your own Almond Milk is easy!* Follow these 4 simple steps: 1. Soak organic almonds over night - 1-3 cups depending on how much milk you want. Fresh almond milk lasts 2 days so you don’t want too much unless making for a family... 2. Once soaked, rinse Almonds thoroughly multiple times in colander or sieve 3. Use wand or food processor: Make Almond to water ratio 1:3 (e.g. 1 cup almonds, 3 cups pure* water) 4. Blend For your Smoothie... NORTHLAND NUTRITION SMOOTHIE PACK: ALMOND MILK INSTRUCTIONS Instead of buying organic Almond Milk and using this in the smoothie you can alternatively: 1. Soak organic Almonds in cold water over night 2. Rinse Almonds thoroughly multiple times in colander or sieve 3. Put Almonds in zip lock bag and freeze 4. Add a small handful of Almonds to smoothie and use water as the base of the smoothie (Almonds + water = Almond milk!) and you can do this to make milk from any kind of nut!
