THANKSGIVING 2014 The first thing that I am thankful for is the wonderful gift of salvation that God the Father has made available to me through the shed blood of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I am thankful for having the knowledge of His Salvation embedded in my heart, not because I feel saved , but that His Holy Word says that I am saved. The second thing that I am thankful for is my family, my children, Roger, Keith, Darrell (deceased), Elisa, Diana, Denise and William, and their spouses and many children and grandchildren. The rest of my family, cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, inlaws and outlaws, I am thankful for all of you. Thirdly, I am thankful for my Pastor, Lewis McNerney and all of my former Pastors, for I have learned much from all of you. My present Church family (the Life and Praise Worship Center) and all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, in which I feel your love and prayers (no man stands alone). Fourth, my very special friends (you know who you are) that have chosen to love me, stand behind me, pray for me, and just be that friend that’s a friend indeed. Last, but not least, I thank God for 78 years of blessings, even before I received Christ as my Saviour, I was blessed of God. My health, even in my latter years my health is good, I have all the material goods that I have need for, even an over abundance. Most of all, I am at peace with God, the world and myself. I have found that it is only God Almighty that can provide all of these things and I take this time, before the entire world to say “God I thank you and I praise you for my life now and for what it will be in the future.”
