THAT MOMENT WHEN; You realize youre not alone, when it comes to, todays So Called Affordable Health Care Act (AHCA). Yesterday I Finally got a call from my provider, for an appointment that should have been scheduled Months AGO, only to be told I have to wait until the end of May, mean while I have to manage this pain on my left side with more Advil (Extra Strength),and fight through the pain while doing daily tasks, and gardening. I went for a walk to a local park, while there as I was feeding the ducks, and praying out loud, a gentlemen was walking by, and said You too?, I turned and replied, sorry didnt know I was talking so loudly, he said I just got back from the war in the middle east, he then showed me his right foot, (a beam fell on it crushing his toes, after a grenade was through n into a building he and his comrades were in) He was walking with a cane, and a large boot, when he took the boot off, I was Shocked! He went on to tell me, that he has been back since last June, after almost year later he has been scheduled for an appointment next month, he has lost weight, and no longer has feeling in his foot, I asked him if it was infected, he said no they do have him on meds, until his surgery..... This is a Veteran of War, a man who trusted this country to do right for him, after giving So much of himself to our, and other Nations. He told me he and I are not alone, he has a dear friend whos father just passed, after being sent home from his doctors office, and set for an appointment two weeks out, he made it two days and passed. we went on for a few on the subject, then changed the subject and he helped me feed the ducks. Prayer truly works, I believe with all my heart, God sent this man to me to show me, my Whines are just that Whines...... and that I am not alone. Thank you God! OKAY, I can understand why a poor person (like myself and 30% of this country is) has to wait, but a Vet??????
