THE 40 DAY CLEANSE - Its here! CENTERING VERSES: The Gospel of John chapter 03 (all). ADVICE: How to get the most out of The 40 Day Cleanse: 1. Remember, this is a long process. You are going to be immersed in these inspired thoughts for 40 days. 2. Read the chapter, or as much as you can every day in a prayer filled openness. 3. Dig deep. Often, the way the translators interpreted the words in reference to their own life paradigm is not exactly what the underlying meaning of a word is meant to convey. Dont take words at their face value but find their root, even if it means going outside the standard Concordance to find it. I will often read from this fantastic online resource, so I can dig deeper and to so with relative ease: blueletterbible.org/ 4. The Holy Spirit is the greatest interpreter of the writing the same Spirit inspired. You will ultimately never get anywhere without the Spirits assistance. This means, you are going to have to be in communion with the Holy Spirit (i.e. - prayerful conversation and open listening). 5. The 40 Day process is geared to stimulate a deep renewing of the mind by coming repeatedly to look into the mirror and see the reflection of God in the face of Jesus Christ. The process as you go will likely follow this path: First - there will be exhilaration as you engage the process. Second - questions will begin to nag you...this is the Holy Spirit. Go with it. Third - enlightenment will come as you repeat the questions back and begin to follow out the connecting threads (Note: you will find consistently that any one truth is tentacled together with all truth like an amazing tapestry). Fourth - because this is going to be a revelatory experience, deepening and unfolding over the 40 days, we want to give you a platform to share your thoughts, so feel free to post the things you believe you are seeing and hearing to the Street Jesus page on Facebook. The dialog between fellow travelers on the journey of discovery can be rich and rewarding. Do NOT worry about your writing style versus others. That is irrelevant.
