THE 7TH DAY SABBATH NUGGETS BY APOSTLE IKENNA ASOMBA Introduction The true and sacred SABBATH of Elohim, the Most High, commences at sunset, every Friday, the 6th day of the week and ends at sunset, every Saturday, the 7th day of the week (see Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Exodus 16:22-30; Nehemiah 13:15-22; Luke 23:50-56; Luke 24:1 etc). Sacred Benefits of Observing the True Sabbath? 1. You will be bountifully blessed by the Most High (Isaiah 56:2) 2. Your name will be remembered in his Temple and among his covenant children longer than if you had sons and daughters. You will never be forgotten (Isaiah 56:4-5) The Origin of Change of the True Sabbath? Pitiably, the world today, recognizes the Sunday (1st Day) Sabbath on grounds unrecognizable by Elohim, our Supreme Ruler. Mankind is paying so dearly for this continuous heresy. Until, the world makes a u-turn, its not yet uhuru! However, the Bible captured the prophesy cum origin of this global ignorance and rejection of Gods sacred and everlasting covenant (Exodus 31:12-17). First, Daniels Prophesy revealed that a a horn among the 10 horns culminating from a fourth beast (Roman empire) will rise on earth. As captured aptly: He will speak against the Supreme God and oppress Gods people. He will try to change their religious laws and festivals and Gods people will be under his powers for three and half years (Daniel 7:25) This prophesy was made manifest in 321 AD at the Laodocean Council, where Roman emperor Constantine issued a decree that the Lords true Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. (See Roman Catholic Books of Decrees and Edicts; Encyclopedia Britainica; Encyclopedia Americana; google etc). Search about Emperor Constantine in these sources books for authentification of facts. Today, this misnomer still holds sway as majority of worlds Christians observe the Sunday Sabbath. Just the original Jews (Israelis) and those in diaspora (Sabbatherians across the world) still stick to the 7th Day sacred Sabbath. Also, Gods recognized religious festivals like Passover, Pentecost, Trumpet, Atonement, Tabernacle, New Moon, have all been relegated to the background, while majority of Christians uphold the Romanic Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, Ash Wednesday, Ascension Sunday etc which have no single biblical ordination or proof, but paganic origins. What a heresy! This is why Apostle Paul in his first letter to Timothy captured: The Spirit says clearly that some people will abandon the faith in later times; they will obey lying spirits and follow the teachings of demons. Such people teach that it is wrong to marry (Roman Catholic Priesthood) and to eat certain foods (lent seasons) (1 Timothy 4:1-3). Also read (Maccabees 1:41-63) to see impunity of the highest order meted against Gods religious laws and festivals by the Greek nation. Thus, how the infiltration all started as prophesied earlier by Prophet Daniel. Note: Maccabees is one of the books of Deuterocanonicals excluded by the Romans and Greeks from the Bible, making it abridged and incomplete. Why Gods Wrath is on Nigeria and other Countries? The desecration and relegation of Gods religious laws and festivals by mankind is the sole reason why there is continuous turmoil and fire all over the world. Arguably, Nigeria has the highest number of churches and religious institutions in the world over, but the country since its inception has continued to know no peace. Have we asked why? Simply read (Isaiah 24:4-14; Jeremiah 17:19-27) for simple and unambiguous answers. Do we actually need a solution? Then, let all the acclaimed religious and political leaders: Stand at the crossroads (in the midst of all lifes perks) and look. Asking for the ancient paths and where the best road is. Its imperative that we must as a nation walk on it, so that we will live in peace (Jeremiah 6:16). Appraisals Are you still in doubt? Be not! 1. Theres no new command (1 John 1:7) 2. Gods commands are for the whole world (Psalms 105:7-8) 3. Christ, by his coming, death and resurrection never abolished any of his Fathers religious laws and festivals handed to mankind on Mount Sinai, through Prophet Moses (Matthew 5:17-19) 4. Why would he chose to be a rebel, when he was a witness during the handing over the laws (1 Corinthians 10:1-4; Nehemiah 9:13-14). 5.The world will be judged by the same laws which it have declared null and void and have rejected. What a resounding warning given by Christ! (John 5:45-47). Conclusion Dont be like those whom Prophet Isaiah was referring to when God spoke through him saying: These people will listen and listen, but not understand; they will look and look, but not see, because their minds are dull, and they have stopped up their ears, and have closed their eyes. Otherwise, their eyes would see, their ears would hear, their minds would understand, and they would turn to me, says God, and I would heal them (Isaiah 6:9-10; Matthew 13:14-15) Moreso, remember Christs eternal words: Go in through the narrow gate (his Divine covenant, only found in the 7th Day Sabbatherianism fold), because the gate to hell is wide (foolish majority in the Sunday Sabbath) and the road that leads to it is easy (come as you are; the Lords grace abounds) and there are many who travel it (except the true and distinguished 7th Day, Saturday Sabbath faithfuls). But the road to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard (The fact speaks for itself. And only all Sabbatherians can explain this themselves), and there are few people who find it (Of the 160 million Nigerian population, just about 7 million are 7th Day Sabbath faithfuls). Finally, I beseech that If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit (of God) says to the churches (covenant children). Note: Emphasis in closed brackets are mine, in concurrence the scriptures inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). You shall never be left unblessed, as you obey and make a positive and DIVINE U-TURN!
