THE AGOGE GAMES, 2015 Its time for the first ever Agoge Games, January 18th, 2015. The Agoge Games will be a monitored team exercise at Stockyard Airsoft, evaluating a teams ability to move, communicate, and shoot while under pressure. Teams will be placed in realistic scenarios and judged on time, teamwork, security, and preperation. Each scenario will be different. Each challenge unique. There will be individual challenges as well, testing individuals in the proficiency with different weapon systems; a rifle competition, a pistol competition, and a marksman competition. During the course of the games we will also be having a swap meet. After the competition is complete all participants will be heading over to TA Airsofts new store for winner announcements and pizza for everyone until late night (the store will be open late for this event. Pizza is covered in registration fees.). Dont miss out on this great chance to show your teams hard work as well as an opportunity to bring the community together for a great time. Price will be $100 per 4 man team ($25/person). All members must pay before the team is placed on the roster. Each registered team must distinguish one of its participants as team leader during registration. Registration covers the team competition, the individual competitions, and pizza and drinks at TA Airsoft afterwards. Groups/teams will consist of 4 participants. Multiple teams may represent one local team. For example, 8 participants from team Oklahoma Milsim Team may join as two separate groups. If either group wins the competition then team Oklahoma Milsim Team will be considered to have won. Teams will be placed in situations with paper targets and expected to react as if a real world situation. This includes situations such as bomb defusal, hostage rescue, and VIP rescue. Teams are expected to come equipped as they would for each type of encounter. Teams will be given prior time to develop strategies, build glass shoot houses, and train towards the event.
