THE ARROW FUND UPDATE - LUCY - EMACIATED REDBONE COONHOUND (click on pictures to see the full picture ) Lucy came to The Arrow Fund on December 14 very emaciated , Thanks to Allie her foster mom for taking such good care of her ! Lucy is still receiving several small meals day. These meals will be increased gradually. She was so nervous and scared in the beginning and now she is very sweet and is getting used to all of the TLC she is getting ! Lucy after being discharged from Blue Pearl was seen by Dr. Edlin at East Louisville. Dr. Edlin wants her to gain at least 10 pounds before spaying her. While being spayed they will repair a hernia that she has . Lucy is also being treated for a bacterial infection on her skin. Lucy is very sweet and gentle . She is estimated to be about 1 and a half years old . Even though Lucy is not cleared medically yet, we are now accepting Adoption applications on her now . That is so when cleared ,we will have the very best home waiting for her ! Adoption applications can be found on our website thearrowfund.org . Donations are needed for all of our cases ! HER NIPPLES ARE ENLARGED - IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SHE HAS HAD PUPS RECENTLY - SHE DOES NOT HAVE MILK NOW. LUCY WILL BE FED VERY SMALL MEALS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY .
