THE BABYLON OF THIS WORLD When we remember the name, “Babylon,” we begin to consider the leadership of sin {wickedness}, and that will lead us to think about satan the founder of lies {John8:44}. God is the one that created the spiritual Babylon after devil has known sin, which He later show her work through the physical Babylon, He made it for His mercy and grace to devil to know if he can repent, and to use it chasten man to free from evil at any time, for He never practice evil. In the scripture, there are many cities God used to show how sin can torment man and the process man may pass before finally gaining his freedom. These are Egyptians bondage, which were used to describe to man his first condition before he was set free through the blood of Jesus Christ. Assyrians captivity and many others were used to describe the future problems that may affect him when he falls back into sin again, which is chastisement approved by God to help man turn again to Him. But Babylon is the apex of all, the leadership of the beast under wickedness, which God allows, when man has fallen into apostasy to chastise and punish him for a period of time. But at the end God will destroy all the evil works done in her and set His faithful one free; those who remove themselves from sin before destruction come. All these stages of punishment is headed by devil under the mystery of iniquity, which can only exist on man with respect to sin {Jeremaiah50:6, 7, 17}. Since devil is an evil spirit, he uses man to fulfil his works on earth , which by the time God moves to destroy his work , the effect will be on those who posses his evil work on earth. Babylon as an ancient city mentioned in the scripture was used by God to demonstrate the final stage of world of sin. She was used to show man how evil may rise to apex, and be brought down over night, never to rise again. Just as God used physical Israelite to explain the mystery of Godliness before Christ finally appeared in flesh and brought it in full, the ancient Babylon were used to show the rising and falling of the leadership of the beast, and the extent God can endure with sin because of man. From history, the ancient capital city of Babylon was known to be called “the gate of gods”, which brought out the image of the spiritual Babylon God was trying to portray to man. Babylon is a false kingdom that exists in the dark part of this earth, originally carved out by God because of His nature of judgement and love to His entire creature {Gen1:4}. The prince of Babylon is satan, the old serpent who loved lie and operates with lies, the foundation of this kingdom is built on lies all through {darkness}. The kingdom is full of small gods; {gods of gifts, talents, graven images and worship of things created by God, which were abominations to the God Almighty {Jeremaiah50:38}}. Every falsehood is her product, and it is headed by a beast that deceives man with so many lies. Devil being a spirit that lies against the word of God is not everywhere like God, he walks to and flow using lies to confuse man that he is God {1peter5:8}. Babylon work is manifested on earth through human beings, whenever they yield to lie which is their main instrument of operation {Remans6:16}. Any man that loves or makes lie is a proper vessel that the kingdom of Babylon uses any moment they want to manifest their work on earth. Because devil cannot be everywhere at the same time, he has divided his work with other fallen angels {Demons}, who now appear to man, in diverse ways just to make him lose his focus on God {2Cor11:13-15}, for God has approved one perfect way to communicate with man, which is by “faith that work in His perfect love shown through His son Jesus Christ” {1Timothy1:5}. Devil manipulates the physical things and makes them seem real and eternal before man, just to bring him into condemnation before God, for he knows that God can never condone sin at any time of His judgement. Because his kingdom is divided, it has a limited time on earth, for the scripture says, “....Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand” {Matthew12:25}. Babylon has its mark as lies, but there is a woman whose name is wickedness sitting upon him, and his primary assignment on earth is to affect it on every system {Rev 12:9, Zechariah5:8}. Therefore any system of government, religious body, economy, institution of learning, social groups, nor individual life etc which is operated with any single wickedness is under the captivity of Babylon. Such system can only be delivered when she repents from those wicked ways and confesses them to God through His son Jesus Christ.Isaiah55:7, says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon”. God is ready now to pardon and receive back anyone who will come to Him through His son Jesus Christ. Babylon uses secret force to attract man into sin when he loves earthly pleasures more than God, just to be able to obtain permission from God to destroy his soul {Jeremaiah50:7, 1John2:15-17}. That is why God is pleading to all man to move out from her now, for He has tried to heal her but she cannot be healed again, and now must he be brought down. Though she claim to be queen of the earth, for God had long patient with her. At her fallen which will occur in one hour the whole earth will shake and every secret of her work will be seen and the blood of God’s people who were killed in her will no more be hidden again {Jeremaiah50:40,46,Revelation17:3-7}. In Revelation17, there was a woman whom the Bible describes to be “wickedness,” was found having on her forehead written the mystery of Babylon, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. This woman known to be wickedness is seated upon many people of the earth and has caused the kings and the prince of the earth to commit fornication with her, for she is clothed with worldly pleasures and lust of the eyes and of the flesh. She is seated upon every high places of the earth, and is headed by the sixth beast that has brought the whole world into delusion through her. She has brought the wrath of God upon the earth, for the kings and merchants of the earth were made rich through the abundance of her delicacies {deceits of wickedness}. Genesis6:5, says, “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”. God says this present world is under the leadership of Babylon, because man loves lies more than truth; they have fallen into delusion again {2Thessolonica 2:7-12, Jeremaiah51:7}. The prince of Babylon has deceived man with the works of fallen angels, which have been introduced in every worship centre on the earth. The whole earth is polluted with lies from the fallen angels; for they were strange fire in the worship of God and this has consumed many people. Almost everybody on earth operates with lies, but God has chosen a remnant to show His last grace on earth as He will begin to harvest the earth. He wants to judge that great whore who has caused the earth to receive His wrath, but her judgement is set to be in an hour known only by God. Therefore God wants all men to flee from wickedness {lies}, the woman whom the sixth beast has used to corrupt the entire world, for it is time for her to go down, for He wants to deliver the earth again before the final judgement. He is saying in Isaiah1:27 and Obadiah 1:17, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment and her converts with righteousness”. He wants to shake the earth to remove all the works of darkness built in her, and for His love and mercy He has chosen Zion and has judged her in His righteousness. He has prepared His only begotten son Jesus Christ to be lifted up in her for the salvation of mankind before the real shake begins. And because the time is too short He is pleading, saying to every man now, move to Zion to obtain the truth again that you might be saved and kept during the shake up, for every foundation built with His word most be shaken to remove all the works of wickedness . Every secret will be open and all mountains and hills will be made low, for His truth and glory will be known among the Gentiles. He says, if your foundation is not built under the true love of Jesus Christ confess them now and repent before it is late, for the intents of every man’s action will soon be opened, and destruction is waiting for those who will try to hide their sins from God { 1Corinthians3:10-15}. Open up to God, for it does not please Him to see you destroyed by the enemy of your soul, He want to save you only if you will confess and repent from all your sins. “Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence”. Escape for your life; remember lots wife and the thief at the right hand of Jesus Christ during His death on the cross, and do what that thief did now. Remember the ancient city Babylon, Sodom and Gomorrah, remember the Noah generations and the angels who sin against God at the beginning , for if God spare not these people when they sinned and failed to repent, how shall any man escape if he neglect these last grace given to all the Gentiles by God {2peter2:6, Isaiah26:20-21}.
