THE BETTER GHANA CONTINUE EDEY BE K3RK3R Mahama cuts sod for upgrading of Tamale Airport today All is set for President John Dramani Mahama to, later this afternoon, perform the ceremonial ground breaking for the upgrading and expansion of the Tamale airport into an international status. It is a project that the people of the Northern region and indeed the entire northern Ghana are waiting for because of the enormous benefits. The $100 million project, to be undertaken in phases, is in fulfillment of a promise made by the President in his electioneering campaign. Preparatory works commenced some weeks back by the Brazilian contractors, Queiroz Galvao,. While in Tamale today (Tuesday), the president will also undertake other activities all geared towards improving the lives of the people. They include the inspection of the Tamale Affordable Housing project at Lahagu, Commissioning of an electrification project at Kotingli and the sod-cutting for work to start on the conversion of the Aboabo supermarket into a shea nut market.
