THE BIGGEST PRAGUES CARNEVAL IS HERE AGAIN!! The word Masopust sounds strange to many of us. Generally speaking, it is a celebration before the 40 days period preceding Easter that is devoted to fasting, abstinence, and penitence. Such celebrations include plenty of food, parades, masks and general merriment. The City of Prague traditionally organizes many celebrations which will be held from February 6th to March 17th. The costume parade will take place on Saturday, February 7th. This years program is very rich and definitely entertaining for everyone.
