THE BKC RAMADAN IFTAR Sunday 20th July at 7.15pm @ Mint Leaf For those who have missed this event and want to join us - The good news is I have managed to reduce the price of the Iftar from AED 135 to only AED 90 per person :) so do bring any loose change you may have as I will be bringing along a donation box. All donations going to TNR or to help sick/injured street cats (no obligation though whatsoever). They have a couple of strays living nearby so anyone who fancies doing a bit of TNR while we are there gets dinner on the house! :) Mint Leaf is a new Indian restaurant that has opened up in the Jumeriah 1/2 Fishing Harbor and it’s simply lovely! The food is delicious (I have sampled it) but I am warning you the portion sizes are HUGE so make sure if you are not fasting you have a very light lunch! They are very happy to let you take left overs home with you (I did and had leftovers for 2 meals afterwards – so you can’t beat that for value for money!). Location: From Dubai Marina: On Jumeirah Beach Road, the sea side is on your left hand side, after Jumeirah Beach Park there is a huge Hotel under construction. After this big construction, make the next U Turn (Al Urouba crossing traffic light) and then first right immediately. Enter inside the Fishing Harbour. Location: From Bur Dubai On Jumeirah Beach Road, when Mercato Mall is on your left hand side, after around 500 meters, take right after the small ‘Jumeirah 2’ white board sign situated on your right. I have added the Iftar set menu on this post 1. Please let me know if you require a vegetarian meal 2. If you prefer I can arrange Lebanese food for those that do not like Indian food (by the way it is not too spicy at all) 3. Children more than welcome, price stays the same (FYI there is also no shisha here) 4. I will be confirming the numbers tomorrow and paying 100% upfront so please do come if you commit to it otherwise I will hound you for the money if you are a no show. All those coming can pay me on the evening.
