“THE BLESSINGS OF LIVING A FASTED LIFE” by: Apostle Renato D. Carillo 1. SPIRITUAL BLESSING - When we are living a fasted life, we become God conscious or have an awareness to God. It becomes easy for us to experience Him and hear His voice, and our spiritual maturity will enhance. 2. MENTAL BLESSING - The mind of Jesus Christ is manifested through us. Our thoughts become spiritual and heavenly. We got to be mentally strong and protective. We operate in the thinking and thoughts of God. 3. EMOTIONAL BLESSING - Living a fasted life makes our emotion to manifest only the Fruits of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Our bad characters will be broken. “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16) 4. FINANCIAL BLESSING - Fasting makes oneself healthy, so it enables us to save money from medical check-ups, medical operations, hospital bills and even food. By this, it will be easier for us to finance the gospel throughout the world. 5. PHYSICAL BLESSING - A person who’s living a fasted life is the healthiest person on earth. Sicknesses and diseases are healed by fasting. This is the very effective natural way for anti-aging. FASTING: “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:16-18)
