***THE CASE OF JUDAS ISCARIOT. IS HE IN HEAVEN OR HELL?? (For the Bible students, give your input) Judas ISCARIOT is best known as the betrayer of Yeshua. He is also one of the twelve chosen disciples and an apostle. Even though he betrayed the Lord, somebody had to do it and I for one am thankful that he did. The case Im presenting is if this was Judass destiny or did he go to hell for what he did? Its clear he was repentive of what he did because he tried to return the thirty pieces of silver. And when it was refused he went and hanged himself by placing a sword in the ground and falling on it causing his bowels to burst out. Some say because he committed suicide he automatically went to hell but that cant be proven in scripture. Judas betrayed the Lord but he did not turn Him over to Pilate to be crucified, the high priest did that. So let me give some scriptures for all to ponder on. John 6:70 KJV Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? There is only one Devil and thats Satan. So the actual term devil is not accurate in that sense. Matthew 26:24 KJV The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Bring your own information on this verse. John 19:11 KJV Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. Here Yeshua addresses the man that delivered Him to Pilate. That was not Judas. Revelation 21:14 KJV And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. This scripture holds a key I believe to the answer we seek. Who is the twelfth apostle? Luke calls Judas an apostle, Peter said his bishoprick was given to Matthias. But Yeshua never (in scripture) commanded the eleven to pick another apostle AND Peter did this before they were filled with the Holy Spirit. So who is the twelfth apostle? So did Judas do what he was supposed to do and fulfilled his destiny or did he die and go to hell?
