THE CENTER OF THE NPP INDEED CANNOT HOLD AND THINGS ARE FALLING APART!!! as a political watcher of contemporary ghanaian politics,I have been following keenly and with rapt attention events preceding the national executive elections of the lead opposition party in ghana, the npp.several things have come to the fore some of which will naturally paint the party in a bad light.some of these are matters of public records and people who have made time to follow events wouldnt naturally argue on these.amongst the negative actions of some party functionaries are enumerated below: *the labelling of the current executives by ken agyepong as thieves for hoarding motor bikes procured for outreach programs during the last election *the blatant and naked denial by chairman jake of not receiving anything from ken agyepong *petition without no supporting documents against an aspirant in the person of paul afoko *a faceless petition sprang as a surprise on paul afoko *the threat by paul afokos loyalists to cross carpet or defect to any party if the idol is not restored *the disqualification of an aspirant for merely not knowing the members of the council of ekders.this happened to one fred amankwaah sarfo these above happenings and others indeed point to the fact that the npp is indeed in some organizational challenges and things are in absolute disarray.this obviously not the way a serious opposition party is to behave.there is absolute no respect for officialdom and the rank and file.the npp must wake up from their negatively deep slumber and do things right so as to give the party in power the needed constructive criticism to move ghana forward.
