THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST INTRODUCTION: This sermon focuses on the second coming of Jesus Christ. Will Jesus truly come back again? It is an incontrovertible fact that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming; His coming is near and hastening fast (2pet 3:3-9; 2Thes 2:3; Rev 1:7-8; 22: 7-12; Zeph 1: 7&14; Mal 3:1; Mt 24:30; Jhn 14:3; Rom 15:12) THE SIGNS OF THE COMING OF JESUS CHRIST ( Mt 24: 3-24; Mk 13: 3-22; Lk 21: 5-36) 1. Arrival of false christs and prophets. They will be deceiving people; performing signs and wonders. 2. Terror on earth: famine, pestilence, tumult, earthquake, sea and waves roaring. 3. Terror in heaven or sky: dreadful lightening and thunders. 4. Persecution, tribulation, and serial killings of the righteous. 5. Hurt, hatred, vengeance, and betrayal. 6. Abounding iniquity, leading to coldness or wickedness, causing weariness or tiredness. 7. Spreading of gospel to the entire universe. 8. News of wars and rumour of wars. All these signs live with us today and this indicates that the end time is right with us. However, no one knows the day and hour of His coming except God, that is why we must must prepared and always for His great arrival. Gird up your loins let your lamp keep burning. (Lk 12:35)
