THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES: Many of you are probably aware that last week we announced that 4 Nottingham Taekwondo Club students were selected to represent England at the 6th Commonwealth Games. They were: Cameron BOOTH - Junior MALE -45KG Tyron MOORES-DUFFIELD - Junior MALE -59KG Adrian WAGSTAFFE - Cadet MALE +65KG and; Shanelle ROWE - Junior FEMALE -59KG Over the coming weeks well be developing a student profile for each of our four athletes in the run up to the commonwealth games, highlighting progress of each individual. All four students realise that there is a lot of hard work ahead of the world famous games and also recognise lifestyle balances must be maintained in order to meet their weight categories. Whilst this is a very exciting time for the club and athletes, we too understand the forthcoming weeks will be extremely important for all four students. Chief instructor Mark Moores: Im very delighted to have four NTC students representing England at the commonwealth games, over the coming weeks Ill be working closely with all four athletes ensuring development practices are moving forward and a healthy lifestyle is maintained, were thoroughly excited and looking forward to the games!
