THE CPP MUST RE-ENERGISE ITSELF FOR ELECTION 2016 Compatriots, I think the CPP is the only political party in Ghana today, which has the correct ideology (Nkrumaism: socialism and Pan-Africanism) and a set of programmes to save Ghana (socialist planned economy, political, social and economic programmes: conventionpeoplesparty.org/). But having fine principles does not translate into electoral votes. It needs to re-energise itself strategically to win Election 2014. Agreed, it has been undermined in many ways by enterist 5th Columnists. We know this because their covert insurgent actions has been replayed immediately prior to every single national election. These constant barrage of malicious internal and external criticisms, political infighting, and such actions, against the CPPs Manifesto and party rules, have had their toll. I need not say too much but to point out that the noun, Socialism appears to have wafted out of the CPPs political discusses and texts like an exorcised ghost. This short post aims to alert those political insurgents who are destroying the CPP, that Nkrumaism is fundamental to the CPP - ie, Socialism, Pan-Africanism. Anything else, is an exercise in mythology!
