THE CULTURE INLUENCE OF A BELIEVER(HOLINESS) What is Culture? The word culture has many different meanings. For some it refers to an appreciation of good literature, music, art, and food. Culture is the full range of learned human behaviour patterns. Culture is a powerful human tool for survival, but it is a fragile phenomenon. It is constantly changing and easily lost because it exists only in our minds Dr, Myles Munrol defines culture as an environment created by the life and manners of the king and his citizens .This is the cultural aspect that separates and distinguish the kingdom from all others around it .It is the culture of the people that express the nature of the King. Through the lifestyle of the citizens. When a person accept Jesus Christ as his personal saviour ,by saying yes to Jesus he or she received into his heart the presence of the Godhead in the person of the Holy Spirit. Who comes from Heaven culture. He is the one that helps a believer to be immersed or baptised into God’s, Love, Nature and Behaviour. (CULTURE) In this newness of life, is called born again. Meaning born into the image or the likeness of God. Such a person who had been living for the culture and the belief system that used to opposed God has now received a gift to be set aside for God, known as sanctification. To sanctify is literally to set apart for special use or purpose, figuratively to make holy or sacred It is all about “Influence”. Every culture has its own Literature, Education, Language, Currency, and History. These things singles a person out to become a unique. Why ? Because He represent a Kingdom Culture. It will surprised you to know that Jesus as the king of the Kingdom of the heavenly culture did not preach about (born again) but about the Kingdom of God.No one can be part of the Kongdon uless he or she has been santified. Sanctification is the instantaneous, supernatural experience where every trace of sin and the desire to sin is miraculously removed from your heart by the presence of Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The spirit of God is Holy (Ambassador from Heaven as a representative of Godhead on earth) So his presence in our lives drives away any darkness (satanic culture) in our hearts, It is an experience that takes place after confession of Jesus into our lives. Like salvation experience, you just have to believe, it is a free gift and a work of grace. You must desire this experience with your whole heart and ask for it earnestly. In the package of salvation is your new nature. Which you must access by renewal of your mind. As you begin to fast to kill the old nature,pray, and studying the word of God to know the promises of God, you begin to adapt to the new spirit in your body .A new tree is planted with a new desires. And so you find out that you no longer desire to talk the way you used to talk, or go to some places you used to go, do things you used to do, dress the way you used to dress, watch things you used to watch, listen to things you used to listen to, to hang around with friends you used to. It is a spiritual operation carried out in your heart by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The believer, though saved and called, needs to be delivered and cleansed from indwelling sin. Colossians 2:9 9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. The fullness was the Holy Spirit who is now abiding and dwelling in flesh of a believer for the first time since Eden. Jesus model for all mankind the spiritual potential that could belong to them if they are empower by the Spirit of God. Allow the change to take place, because you cannot be half saved. When you say yes to Jesu, it means no to Satan. WHEN WE TRULY AND FAITHFULY GIVE OUR LIVES TO JESUS, SIN BECOMES TASTELESS IN OUR MOUTHS.THE POWER OF SIN IS BROKEN.BECAUSE OF DESIRE TO LIVE FOR JESUS,WE BECOME SAVED,DELIVERED AND SET FREE. All of us possesse sin befor salvation.Romans 3:23 23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory [a]which God bestows and receives. The most damming sin that a man can commit is to say no to Jesus.People dont go to Hell because they are sinners,the above scripture says we are all sinners.People go to hell ,because they rejected the saviour Jesu Christ. In the same package OF SALVATION is your total deliverance from the power of sin and death, Sickness and Diseases. Curses and Pains sweat. Romans Chapter 8.In short one is removed from the wrath of God into the Holy Nature of God. The spirit of God in a believer is like a new SIM card in an old mobile phone. There might be and old information registered inside the phone. It is up to you to ignore the old information or to save the old information on that new sim card. Here nothing can be changed automatically without your active or partial participation. But when you tune in to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, the process of changing into the newness begins. Sanctification is a process of growth. Although it has taken effect, but man is slow to change. The Holy Spirit through our acceptance to the word of God, brings the change that is required. 2 Cor.4;7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 2CoR.3 16 Nevertheless when we turn to the Lord, the Vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. BY STAYING IN HIS PRESENCE BRINGS THE CHANGE, BECAUSE GOD IS ALWAYS ON THE MOVE.,FROM INTIMIDATION,MANUPULATION AND DAMMNATION.GUSS WHAT THE DEVIL IS A LIER AND ALL THAT HE SAYS AND DOES IS LIES.UNLESS TOU PRESSCRIBES HIS JONKES. The Holy Spirit cleans up our heart from past sins, past hurts, past negative memories, past negative emotions and all the filthiness of heart from the past, as we look onto Jesus (the word of God).By exspossing the lies of the devil. In the sanctification experience, OLD THINGS LITERALLY PASS AWAY AND YOU BECOME NEW, YOU ACT NEW, YOU TALK NEW, YOU DRESS NEW, YOU ASSOCIATE WITH NEW FRIENDS - GODLY PEOPLE!!!! (2 COR. 5:17). The salvation experience is, ‘taking the sinner out of sin and sanctification is, ‘the inbred sin out of the new believer’s heart and flesh’ desire to behave, dress and talk primitive, naive, unpolished, ill-mannered) out of the new cultured in the word of God (Sanctification). SANCTIFICATION is received after the salvation experience. It is a free gift to the willing new believer who desires and longs for it. Sanctification PRODUCES GENUINE AND TOTAL CONVERSION!!! EVIDENCE OF INDWELLING SIN: 1) Rom. 7:14-25 2) Rom. 8:5-8 AN EVIDENCE OF SATINFY LIVING( 1) Read Rom. 8:10-14 (2) “And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.” (Deut. 30:6) (3) “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” (Ezek. 36:25-27) THE EFFECTS OF THE SANCTIFICATION Produces Love (1) You will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. ( 2) It Changes your Choices .You will walk in God’s statutes, and you will keep His judgments and do them wholeheartedly. (3) Changes your desires,You will hate sin and everything that is shady, abominable or ungodly. (4) Your languages changes.You will talk, think, dress and behave in a holy and godly manner. THE SANCTIFICATION EXPERIENCE MUST BE MAINTAINED!!! 1) By studying God’s word constantly (Eph. 5:26; Rom. 12:1-2; Josh. 1:8; John 17:17,19) 2) By obeying God’s word promptly and wholeheartedly (Jam. 1:21-25; Psa. 19:7; Matt. 7:24-27) 3) By constant prayer (Luk. 18:1; 1 Thess. 5:17) 4) By guarding your heart with all diligence (Prov. 4:23; Job 31:1; Psa. 119:37; Phil. 4:8) 5) By avoiding all forms of evil communication – ungodly friendships and associations (Psa. 1:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:33; Prov. 12:26; 2 Cor. 6:14-18) THE SANCTIFICATION EXPERIENCE MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO BE HOLY AND PERFECT BEFORE GOD!!!!AND ALSO ILLEGIBLE FOR HEAVEN (1Pet. 1:15,16; Matt. 5:48)
