THE CURSE OF THE AGING WITCH. CHAPTER 1 MMHHHMMHMMMMM, HMMmmmmmmmm,old teresa wimpered,as she sat down on an old stool,made of wood sitting on the right side of her old rached hut. It was obvious to everyone living in the village of Tukur,that old teresa was living in abject poverty. She was known for her magical powers,to heal the sick,cure barreness,financial progress e.t.c. In all sense of understanding she played a vital role in the progress of Tukur village. What made people revere her the most was that,she never requested much for her magical assistance,unlike other habalist in the neighboring villages. Nobody knew where she was born,whether she even had a family,or relatives. She was all by herself always,in that little rached hut of hers which contained a bed made of rafia leaves,an old lamp,two clay pots that had cracked beneath them which were unable to retain water,and other weird things with which she used to prepare her charms. Old teresa thought about the good old days,were she still belonged to the night world. She was married to wizard whose family were known as the Tirans of liveth,they were the highly respected among their piers because they had more magical powers more than most families at that time. As such they had many enemies, people who wanted them exterminated from the face of this earth, out of sheer jealousy,hate and deceit. One day, her husband was on his way, to see a fellow friend of his,as he was about to cross the road,a terrible accident occured, in which a bus carrying eight passengers colided with a lorry,seven of the eight persengers died instantly, the last person, was a child about eight years old,his head was puntured,and blood kept gushing out of the childs wound. If he looses a lot of blood,he will never make it to the hospital alive, her husband thought.at that time is was forbidden to use any form of spell on a non-member of the night world and the punishment of going contrary to the law was death,not only for you but for your family also(wife and kids). I have to save this kid,the law can wait,thought her hubby,nobody would even notice,i used a forbidden spell,steping close to kid,lying in his own pool of blood,dead bodies lay motionless around him. He picked the boy in his arms and whispered an healing spell.... SAAAHPHIRAAA GODDESSSSS OF HEALING, QUEEN OF THE JUST,COME TO MY AID,HEAL THIS CHILD....SAAAHPHIRAAA WITHING A SECOND,THE DEEP CUT,ON THE BOYS HEAD BEGAN TO HEAL. A crowd had began forming at the accident scene,turning to the multitude of mourning passers by,he handed the kid to a man,saying he is still breathing,take him to the hospital. Her husband never returned,he was captured by the heads of the night world and charged for breaking the lawpunishment must be upheldthe cruel judge stated flatly,her,her husband and two daughters were to be killed,it was said that his descendants would be a curse to the society... Right before her very eyes her daughters were killed, her husband was pained, she could see it in his eyes,you cant die because of me,he said i have the power to free us both,we will vanish from here and appear in another town,but the spell,its been long,i used it. There is no harm in trying,i will try to free you first and then myself,remember this,ONLY THE JUST AND CORAGEOUS FORGIVE,ONLY COWARDS SEEK FOR REVENGE.. With that! He cast the spell and she vanished,appearing at the outskirts of this village were she currently stayed...her husband never appeared she hoped and prayed,waiting one week,two weeks, 1 year,and now 20years. Her joy was closed shut,they probably had caught him before he vanished. And now here was she,using her magical powers to heal these ungreatful humans.who only cared about,themselves. After the healing,they never return to show appreciation for the help she offered,the youths had no regard for her,non had ever offered to help her with her daily house chores. Even those she blessed with fruit of the womb never returned to atleast show her the child she blessed them with. She lived like a pauper,and no one cared,they were only interested in the help she could render. I will make them pay,afterall it was because of the help,my husband rendered to a human that got her family killed,how did the heads of darkness even know what he did,probably someone had told them,maybe one of her husband enemies. I will curse them,i will call upon evil plaques to visit their homes,and they will run to me for help,but i will turn my back at them,they will suffer,they will die of unknown sicknesses. This is what they have brought upon themselves.Old terresa muttered with hate in her voice. Author I and myself jr.
