THE Cord coalition says Uhuru Kenyatta’s government is not telling the truth about new employment statistics. Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka says unemployment has greatly increased over one year of Jubilee administration. “The claim that 740,000 jobs have been created is a figment of Jubilee’s imagination,” said the former Vice President. Kalonzo said it would be difficult for the Jubilee administration to create jobs owing to the lack of foreign direct investment. “In the absence of substantial FDI, it is difficult to generate jobs to absorb the high number of unemployed youths across the country,” he said. ow.ly/woH1g
