THE DARKNESS JMF Put me in your darkest Hour, Thats where Im going to shine.. The darkness is an enemy to most, the darkness is a friend of mine Its in the darkness that I find myself alone. To the pain and suffering I have become prone I dont have an immunity to the darkness, But I have grown somewhat numb The darkness is full of evil, To it I wont succumb The darkness has a way of invoking peoples fears. The darkness is a safe haven for me, where I can shed my tears The darkness is a reminder of all the battles that I have fought. The most valuable lessons learned are the ones that darkness taught No one can see me in the darkness, They tend to shut their eyes. The darkness can be your downfall, But from it I am going to rise. I lived my life in the darkness, so i am not afraid. I thought I saw the light, But I learned I only strayed. JMF
