THE DECEPTION OF WORLDLY ACCUMULATION OF WEALTH AND RICHES WITHOUT HOLINESS: Luke.12:15-21. He said unto them take heed and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: and he thought within himself, saying what shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said this will I do; I will pull down my barns and will build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, soul thou hast much goods laid up for many years, take thine ease eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself; and is not rich toward God. Money and wealth is not everything, without being born again all world accumulation and rich is vanity upon vanity all is vanity. Mk.8:36-37. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 1Tiomothy.6:6-11. But godliness with contentment is a great gain. For we brought into this world and it certain we can carry nothing out. Etc. Col.3:5-6; Luke.22:34-36; Eccl.5:10-12; 1Kings.21:1-24; Exodus.20:17. Covetousness, love of money has brought a lot of evil in the world. Think of kidnapping, arm robbery, ritual murders, stealing whether from your parents, employer, government, and bank or religion place of worship or church. All these evil are perpetuated because of covetousness and many people fall into the hands of dupers or 419 that defraud them of large amount of money and sometime their life goes for it because they were covetous. If someone is offering you cheat goods or job overseas on the internet ask yourself all the people in overseas are they all employed are there no poor person there. Beware lest you lose your little resources and life and may end up in hellfire. The consequences of covetousness cannot be over emphasized. Many evil have been committed by men because of their love for money which they cannot take away with them when they die. The rich man cannot sleep in two houses at this same time, cannot sleep on two bed at a time, if he marry 1000 wives like Solomon cannot sleep on two at a time, when he die no matter how much he has and the properties he possess he cannot take more than six feet. I repeat love of money or covetousness is reason for corruption; it is reason for ritual murder, prostitution, 419 and a lot of evils on the earth. Covetousness will damn the soul in hellfire at the last day when the person closes his or her eyes in death. Without salvation which comes through Jesus Christ no man can be free from covetousness no matter how religious. REPENT NOW AND INVITE JESUS INTO YOUR HEART THEN WILL YOU BE FREE FROM COVETOUSNESS. REMEMBER HOLINESS WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD. HEBREWS.12:14. IT IS NOT WITHOUT MONEY BUT WITHOUT HOLINESS. SALVATION CAN BE YOURS BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO FREEDOM BUT JESUS CHRIST, HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE NO MAN CAN COME TO GOD THE FATHER BUT BY HIM ALONE.
