THE #DIARY OF A #NIGERIAN The #Mistake Of Nancys #Life (Episode 12) – Final Episode! Nancy was infuriated on seeing the wicked woman. So she’s the one troubling her family. This is the time to take her total revenge on her for all she did to her and still doing to her family. She was stunned and speechless on seeing Nancy and her daughter. Nancy saw confusion written all over her. She came to remind Nancys parents that the next hearing in court is the next day. She drove out. They got into the house as Nancy narrated her ordeal with Mady to her mother. She cried bitterly and thanked God for saving Nancys life. Nancys father came in and she stood up. Nancy thought he would yell at her, telling her that shes not his daughter and that she should get out but to Nancys greatest surprised. He embraced her and started pleading for forgiveness amidst sobs. He said he has realised he was foolish for forsaking her. When her two sisters died, they became childless. Nancy had to forgive him. He’s still her father anyway. Since God had mercy on her and made a way for her where there seemed to be no way, Nancy had no reason not to forgive him but the only person she doubted if she would ever forgive was Nnamdi and his stupid request for her daughter. Nancy would never give him her daughter. In court the next day, Mady didnt believe her eyes. She didnt know Nancy had become a lawyer. Nancy defended her parents as she overpowered Mady’s lawyer. Nancy spoke English upon English with questions to silence her opponent lawyer. Nancy told the entire court that Mady forged the documents. Nancy brought up her child trafficking case in addiction to the one at hand. The chief judge asked her how Nancy got to know. Nancy told him that she knew for long but had no evidence to bring her to book. Nancy told them what she went through with her but Nancy made sure she didnt include prince and Ona into the story. She was handcuffed and held in custody while her house was searched. The number of girls in her house has reduced. Nancy sought for Ona but she didnt see her. Some rooms were broken into and after everything. Four human heads and two girls in different rooms were found. The girls were at the point of death as they were starved of food and water. This is enough evidence Nancy said. They returned to the court. The human heads and the two hostages were shown to everybody. There was a great commotion in the court. Order was called for. Mady’s lawyer was too stunned to say anything and so, Nancy fired on condemning the wicked act and reminding the chief judge that such calamity attracts death penalty (as if he wasnt aware) At the end of everything. The land case was dismissed. Victory belonged to them. Her parents shed tears of joy as they both embraced her together. Her father called her a great daughter for the very first time. Nancy was so happy. Mady was sentenced to death by firing squad. Nancy waved her goodbye with a smile telling her that everybody must reap what he or she sows. The black maria took her away. The court will have to go and lock her house. Just then, Nancy saw a man being led into the court for another case hearing. He looked like someone she know. Nancy stared at him again. Yes, its Prince. That’s surely Prince. Her parents asked if she knew him. Nancy told them he’s the one that saved her from Mady, together with another lady called Ona. Nancy decided to defend him. He had killed somebody. The case was a tough one. Nancy went close to him and whispered into his ears to say that he is not guilty that it was two man fighting, Nancy knew he was guilty but she just had to help him. The case seemed tough but on the next hearing, Nancy won the case for him. He expressed gratitude. He knew the court would have sentenced him to life imprisonment or death as he had no one to defend him. He told Nancy that Ona had died the previous year. Nancy wept and prayed for her wherever she may be. Nancy advised Prince to start up a good business. ** On getting home one day, Nancy saw Nnamdi waiting for her. He was begging for my forgiveness. Her parents begged her to forgive him. Her daughter heard everything and demanded an explanation. Nancy hid nothing from her. Nnamdi embraced her. Nancy quickly drew back her daughter. But at last, Nancy forgave Nnamdi and allowed him give her a tight, long and warm embrace. Nancy was crying. Nancy allowed him access to his daughter but not to take away completely from her. Nancy later got married to Prince. Nancy was a happy woman. Nancy recalled her trials and thanked God for everything.
