THE DRAGON BOATS . . . . Lots of things going in the Twin Cities but no need to go anywhere outside of the greater East Side. Of course, start your day with breakfast at Romolos. Grab a dago for lunch and have a boatload of pizza and chicken to end the night. Heck, make it a Triple Header Day! In between, check out the Ramsey County Fair and go to Lake Phalen for the Dragon Boat Festival. If youve never been to it, you are missing out on a really fun time. The use of dragon boats for racing and dragons originated in southern central China more than 2500 years ago. Dragon boat racing is as old as are the first Olympic games of ancient Greece.
