THE EAGLE HAS LANDED. At precisely 1:37 Sunday 10 August 2014 Zadoc crossed the border into Canadian territory and became a landed immigrant. He put his nose out the window and wagged his tail at the Custom Officer and he laughed and wished him good luck. In French. A precisely 3:31 Zadoc touched down at Redfox Hill his home where he will be loved forever. After 9.5 hours on the road and 731.9 Ks - I am a little pooped. However this little trooper has been on the road for 48 hours and who knows how many ks - and he just wants to walk and dig and find out exactly where is this new place. He ran the Gauntlet - Zhilo and Zoe, he smelled the roses,he stared down the orange cat, he paid his respects to Amigo Hill, ate his supper and now - he is asleep - where I will be as soon as this post is up.
