THE ESSENCE OF LEADERSHIP Good leaders employ others, Great leaders deploy others Managers think of the next position Leaders think of the next generation A true leader reduces his dependency A true leader is never insecure Only matured leaders want their associate to be greater than they are. Jesus received power over heaven and earth But he did not hold unto it, He empowered and released his disciples Power and Authority is made for distribution not for detention. A true leader always focus on people not self preservation Elijah focused on Elisha & gave him his mantle David focused on Solomon & gave him his throne Jesus focused on Peter & gave him His Church. A good leader is a great leader when your people dont need you. We need leaders who are more interested in people than they are to money or private ambitions. If the people you are mentoring dont out perform you; Then you are not a good leader or mentor. Ask your self a question: Are you a good leader?
