"THE FINAL SERMON OF THE HOLY PROPHET" 1. Regard the life & property of every muslim as a sacred trust. 2. Return the goods entrusted to u to their rightful owners. 3. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt u. 4. Remember that u wil indeed meet ur Lord, and that He wil indeed reckon ur deeds. 5. God has forbidden u to take usury (interest). 6. Beware of Satan for the safety of ur Religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead u astray in big things. So beware of following him in small things. 7. O people, you have certain rights to with regard to ur women, but they also have rights over u. 8. Do treat ur women well and be kind to them for they r ur partners & committed helpers. 9. Worship God. Perform ur five daily prayers. Fast during the month of Ramadan & offer Zakath, perform Hajj if u have the means. 10. (None have superiority over another) except by piety & good action. 11. Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore do injustice to yourselves. 12. Remember, one day you will appear before God & answer for ur deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. 13. O people, I leave behind me two things, the QURAN & my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you wil never go astray. Thus the beloved Prophet completed his final sermon, and upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down: ....This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed my Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam for you as your religion.... (QURAN 5:3)
