THE FIRST PUSSIES ARE IN THE POOL! and here are the first pics. Agnes is the smallest at 16lb (petite one might say!), but with good frame and ready to add much more weight. Betty at 17lb is next, although the held shot of her managed to corrupt and the only pic we have is of her in the water before she kicked her tail and swam away! Clara, also at 17lb, looks sweet and again is of excellent frame and looking to pack on even more weight. Daphne, at 23lb is currently the largest, but again with the frame she has she will pack on many more lbs. All the girls are PIT Tagged (micro-chipped) and also visually tagged in their right hand pectoral (viewed from the front), with bright yellow tags that you cant really miss. We are working in tandem with the Catfish Conservation Group and want to introduce up to 15 selected fish (all girls and between upper teens to upper 20s lbs at in-going size). The CCG rescue/removal activities do not always produce large numbers of our target group, and therefore will will wait patiently to receive more - the principal requirement is that all fish must come from waters which have no record of fish disease or fish kills. If you are not a member of the CCG I very strongly suggest you should take out membership. We hold the necessary ILFA Licence for our introductions, and all fish are covered by Section 30 consents.
