THE FIVE BLESSINGS FOR SUTRAS AND TEACHING THE DHARMA. The lecturing & teaching of Dharma, the Sutras to give others are known as The giving of Dharma. The rewards of blessings thus accrued from such giving areas follow : ( 1 ) To obtain a long lifespan : The Sutra teaches people to abstain from killing, So the donors will obtain a long lifespan. ( 2 ) to be extremely wealthy ,: The Sutra teaches people to abstain from stealing, So, the donors will become rich. ( 3 ) To obtain a Properly adorned form feature : The Sutra teaches people ways to be patient, calm & serene. So the donors will be born with adorned features. ( 4 ) To be honoured and respected by others : The Sutra teaches us to develop good faith in Buddhism and to take refuge with The Triple jrwels So the donors will become well-known and be respected by others. ( 5 ) To be intelligent and wise: People who read the Sutra will be wise and awaken to their inherent wisdom. So the donors will endiwed with wisdom .
