THE FREE WILL ISSUE: All of us believe that Allah has given us free will. This to me means a warrant to go after us based on deeds. I mean, we are his creation just like tons of his other creations, than why just us? that he will go after on the judgement day. As I understand the difference between us and the rest of his creations; we have free will and none others known or perceivable by us have it. Not even the angels. So what is free will and why is it a trigger to ends like hell and haven? FREE WILL: Ability to do, to abstain or to hang in limbo. As we live our lives we formally and normally arrive at junctures where a decision is expected of us. If we make a positive decision we put our self on a pre-programmed line of life. Same is true when we make a negative decision or fail to make a decision. Each decision has its own line of life that follows the decision, and it is always pre-programmed by Allah. Depending upon the decision, the line of life ends in hell or haven. In some cases, to do ends in hell, in others not to do will end in hell or otherwise. The upshot is that Allah must have granted us the ability and the education to make this decision - the free will is such a tiny but the starting point of what will happen to us in the end. So if there was no free will there wouldnt be hell or haven as destiny. And we all know that Allah will fill up hell with sinners. The irony is that we are likely to go through major suffering even though we never bargained for it - It was Allah who showed Iblees (Satan) out and it was Iblees who wanted a chance to bend our decisions and it was Allah who allowed that to happen. Than why are we to burn in hell?????
