He is currently representing bauchi north in the upper chamber,people consider gamawa as the most loyal among yugudas political kids if look at their peaceful relationship since 2007. MAHMUD YAYALE AHMED: Yayale Ahmed was a one-time Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Minister of Defence. A real technocratic, he is a close associate of Adamu Mu’azu, which is a plus for him. He is regarded as one of the most qualified aspirants for the governorship position, though he has not made a formal declaration for the post. He is seen to possess leadership qualities and exhibit commitment and dedication to service delivery. Having garnered vast experience and contributed to national development, observers believe he is good to become the state’s next governor. His emergence as the PDP standard-bearer in next year’s governorship election depends largely on M’azu and Yuguda camps, considering the fact that he was not known to really belong to the political class. AMINU HAMMAYO : Hammayo is the recent resigned Secretary to the Bauchi State Government (SSG). He was one of the hardworking commissioners in Yuguda’s administration in the state. He was Commissioner for Budget Planning before his elevation. Hammayo is seen as a good product for PDP to sell to Bauchi people in next year’s governorship race. Though he has not declared for the race, he is being mentioned as an aspirant. Been Yuguda’s ex commissioner and SSG who has been able to stabilise the administration since his elevation, he might get the nod of the incumbent governor to succeed him.
