THE GREAT CHAKRA MYSTERY SOLVED BY GEORGE I receive numerous comments about chakras. How to reach this chakra and that chakra etc. There is an obsession on the part of many people with chakras. The truth is that you could take the most brilliant surgeon in the world to look inside of the human body and surprise surprise, there are no chakras to be found. Chakra is a word that describes something else, as are the words spirit and soul. These things do not exist but what they represent certainly does exist. Your body is an electrical instrument filled with spinning protons, photons, electrons, with neurons constantly being fired from the abundance of electrical circuits. The word Chakra derives from the Sanskrit word for wheel or turning, but in the yogic context a better translation of the word is vortex or whirlpool (wikipedia) This is consistent with scientific reality because all of the electrical impulses within the body such as protons, photons, electrons etc are constantly spinning. Everything is spinning and so if you wish to say that spinning electrons and photons and protons are Chakras fine. But what is their purpose? As we raise electrical energy in the meditative state it is important that it arrives at the brain with the correct current so that it does what it is supposed to do. Thus the passage through what are called the 7 Chakras is actually a passage through electrical resistors. These resistors make sure that the electrical energy that rises up in the meditative state reaches the pineal gland correctly. A final thought which I believe you will find to be quite interesting. The law of electrical resistance was discovered in the eighteen hundreds by scientist George Simon Ohm. It is called Ohms Law Is it not amazing that for thousands of years, those who chant in their meditative state are actually chanting his name?
