THE GREAT COMMISSION HAS BEEN COMMITTED TO EVERY TRUE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, GO YE INTO THE WORLD AND MAKE DISCIPLES BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL OF GRACE. WE HAVE A DIVINE COMMISSION TO TAKE THE GOSPEL TO THE END OF THE EARTH: JESUS said:Mark:16:15-18: And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach {and} publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned. And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well. WE ARE TO TELL THE UNTOLD ABOUT THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD. Matt:24:14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end. 10:27 What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim upon the housetops. EVERY TRUE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN HAS BEEN OBLIGATED TO FULFIL THE GREAT COMMISSION. AS A FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST, WE HAVE BEING GIVEN A MINISTRY CALLED MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION. TELLING THE WORLD THAT GOD IS NOT ANGRY WITH THEM ANYMORE, AND NOT IMPUTING THEIR SINS AGAINST THEM, THAT IS GOOD NEWS. 2Cor:5:19-20: It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling {and} restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up {and} holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). So we are Christs ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christs personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] {and} be reconciled to God. ONLY IN THE GOSPEL OF GRACE BY FAITH THE TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS REVEALED. THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL OF GRACE BY FAITH IS THE ONLY TRUE GOOD NEWS. TO THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, IT MIGHT SOUND SOO FOOLISH TO THEM, SAYING IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. BUT IN THIS GOSPEL OF GRACE BY FAITH IS WHERE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS CHOSEN SALVATION TO BE FOUND. Rom:1:16-17: good news) {of Christ,} for it is Gods power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes {with} a personal trust {and} a confident surrender {and} firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just {and} upright shall live {and} shall live by faith. THE TRUE FULFILMENT IN LIFE IS ONLY IN TESTIFYING ABOUT THE SALVATION THAT IS IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. We are sold out to preach the Gospel. We dont have to be push before we share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. That is what and why we are redeemed and saved to do. Its our number one responsibility priority we have in the Kingdom of God. 1Cor:9:16 For if I [merely] preach the Gospel, that gives me no reason to boast, for I feel compelled of necessity to do it. Woe is me if I do not preach the glad tidings (the Gospel)! WE ARE CHOSEN FOR THIS MAIN REASON: John:15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit {and} keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you. THE REASON WE ARE ENDUED WITH POWER AND OF HOLY GHOST, IS TO BE A WITNESS AND TESTIFYING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FINISHED WORK, WHICH IS THE GOSPEL OF GRACE BY FAITH. Acts:1:8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. John:15:26-27:But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me. But you also will testify {and} be My witnesses, because you have been with Me from the beginning. The whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Rom:8:19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly {and} longs earnestly for Gods sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. THE TRUE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN ARE THE SONS OF GOD, AND THE WHOLE CREATURE ARE IN BONDAGE, THEY ARE WAITING TO BE RELEASE, AND HOW CAN THEY BE RELEASE? WE ARE TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY UNTO THEM, THAT WAS ONE OF THE REASON THE LORD SPIRIT RESIDES IN US. Isaiah:61:1-3: THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed {and} qualified me to preach the Gospel {of} good tidings to the meek, the poor, {and} afflicted; He has sent me to bind up {and} heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison {and} of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion--to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, {and} failing spirit--that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Luke:4:18-19: The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted {and} acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]. Isaiah:50:4-5: [The Servant of God says] The Lord God has given Me the tongue of a disciple {and} of one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He wakens Me morning by morning, He wakens My ear to hear as a disciple [as one who is taught]. The Lord God has opened My ear, and I have not been rebellious or turned backward. Lets commit ourselves wholly to the spreading of the good news of heavenly kingdom. God is counting on us. Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Rom:13:11 Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah). 2Cor:6:1-2: LABORING TOGETHER [as Gods fellow workers] with Him then, we beg of you not to receive the grace of God in vain [that merciful kindness by which God exerts His holy influence on souls and turns them to Christ, keeping and strengthening them--do not receive it to no purpose]. For He says, In the time of favor (of an assured welcome) I have listened to {and} heeded your call, and I have helped you on the day of deliverance (the day of salvation). Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome {and} acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation! IN ORDER TO SEE THE GREAT COMMISSION COMMITTED INTO OUR CARE BEEN FULFILLED WILL ONLY BE BY PREACHING, TESTIFYING AND WITNESSING WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD; AND NOT IN THE RELIGIOUS TRADITION DOCTRINE RUDIMENTS OF MEN PHILOSOPHY OF THEIR EARTHLY WISDOM.1cor:1:17-18:For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force {and} emptied of its power {and} rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect). For the story {and} message of the cross is sheer absurdity {and} folly to those who are perishing {and} on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive {and} recognize {and} know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him). 2:2 For I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and Him crucified. Gal:1:8-9: But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to {and} different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! As we said before, so I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from {or} contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! THE MESSAGE FOR THE GREAT COMMISSION IS STRAIGHT AND SIMPLE. 1Cor:15:1-4: AND NOW let me remind you [since it seems to have escaped you], brethren, of the Gospel (the glad tidings of salvation) which I proclaimed to you, which you welcomed {and} accepted and upon which your faith rests, And by which you are saved, if you hold fast {and} keep firmly what I preached to you, unless you believed at first without effect {and} all for nothing. For I passed on to you first of all what I also had received, that Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for our sins in accordance with [what] the Scriptures [foretold], That He was buried, that He arose on the third day as the Scriptures foretold. Rom:10:9-10: Because if you acknowledge {and} confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) {and} confirms [his] salvation. THE GREAT COMMISSION IS TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE CAPTIVITY HAVE BEEN TAKEN CAPTIVE. CHRIST HAS BROKEN THE YOKES, HE HAS MADE A SPECTACULAR SHAME OF THE SCHEMES ANS THE WIKES OF THE DEVIL AND his COHORTS. Eph:4:8 Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men. Col:2:14-15: Having cancelled {and} blotted out {and} wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees {and} demands which was in force {and} stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside {and} cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display {and} public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him {and} in it [the cross]. PROCLAIMING LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES IS THE GOOD NEWS, AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO, NOT JUDGING OR CONDEMNING PEOPLE. WHEN GOD SEND US ON ASSIGNMENT, HE SEES TO IT THAT EVERYTHING WE WILL EVER REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THAT ASSIGNMENT IS MADE AVAILABLE TO US. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR ACTUALISING THIS GREAT COMMISSION IS IN THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT IS WORKING MIGHTILY INSIDE OF US. 2Cor:3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability {and} sufficiency are from God.4:7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur {and} exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. Col:1:29 For this I labor [unto weariness], striving with all the superhuman energy which He so mightily enkindles {and} works within me.Eph:3:7 Of this [Gospel] I was made a minister according to the gift of Gods free grace (undeserved favor) which was bestowed on me by the exercise (the working in all its effectiveness) of His power.
