THE HIGHLY CORRUPT AND AMBITIOUS RIBADU SHOWS HIS REAL COLOR. Any critical examination of the EFCC in the first 4 years of its existence would reveal not the war against corruption that everybody assumed, but the brazen ambition of one man who would do everything to be in power. Then, he once declared Ahmed Tinubu the most corrupt Governor in Nigeria, only latter to accept from Tinubu the ticket to run for the Presidency in the party that Tinubu led. Not being as smart as he touted, he did not understand that Tinubu never really thought he would have a chance for Presidency. And rightly so, Tinubu made a deal with Jonathan that he would support Jonathan, not his party candidate, Ribadu. Despite his many nasty opinions against PDP, Ribadu sees now an opportunity to run not for the President this time, but for the Governor of his State, to replace the Governor that was recently impeached. What a brazen ambition by a man that lost the relevancy he stole by manipulation. It is not wrong to have an ambition for power. But it will remain horrible that Ribadu sold a dummy to Nigerians in the worst farce called the EFCC and war against corruption. Now, Ribadu may not like to disclose how much he has to pay the leaders of the local PDP in his state for him to be allowed to run as the Governor. That is it about Nigeria and its fights against corruption.
