THE HOLY SPIRIT’S POWER. “So I say,live by the Spirit,and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature”(Galatians 5:16) ‘Commitment and surrender to Jesus Christ,obedience to the will of God,and following the example and teachings of Christ,require a high level of dedication and self-discipline,far above normal human ability.That is why many who want to become disciples do not accept the challenge.They too readily succumb to the temptations and seductions of the world. To enable you to live up to the requirements and challenges of your commitment to Him,Jesus made His Holy Spirit available to you.He enables you to live as Jesus expects you to live and to overcome the temptations of the world. If you dedicate yourself to the Lord and allow His Holy Spirit in you to guide you,you will experience the power of the Holy Spirit more and more in your life. Always remain sensitive to His influence and you will receive power that will enable you to live in obedience to the will of God.’
