THE HOT SPRINGS; Watering the seeds of passion was a business daily and self imposed to Ali, as dawn settled from Haditha Mountains onto the villages of Kandahar whose buildings had been devastated by President BUSH’s war on terror in search for Osama Bin Laden the Al-Qaida Leader behind the bombing of the US Twin Towers ; His bombs devastated everything, buildings, lives, vegetation to their foundation but one, only one, the seed of passion of Ali for zakiiya remained watered in the wilderness of Kandahar; There was no life for anything to something, every morning opened in tears and sobs as the census for the dead, fallen in every night was a daily routine. The streets had been deserted, shopping malls and markets had closed, prayers in public places abandoned as Bush gushed his wrath into an ocean in search for a needle; The sound of the strong machinery created enmity to sleep, that nights were just a change of time to the occupants of Haditha who were dead not to sleep but in spirit of hope for life the next day. Am not sure why, why of all places that this wilderness was the oasis for Ali and Zakiiyas’ love; There was not even an inch in Haditha that grief and sorrow had not befriended it occupants, from the beasts in the wild, crickets in the ground, the crows in the space and humans on the ground, all were targets to Bush’s strong machinery that vomited both hell and fire. In such purgatory this mustard seed did not weather, it imbibed enough moisture and sprouted, all in the name of this self imposed businessman who owned and audited the books of his passion and intimacy for Zakiiya. To him amidst the bullets of submachine guns, missiles and rockets that had concurred not just the right to speak but the space to breathe in Haditha, found some room perhaps a panic room self contained to the desires of his business; I don’t want to convince you of the degree of its safety, as had been built on thorns not just of Bush’s aggression but the ideological differences between the thither and thinner. The businessman’s world and Zakiiyas world of ideology where totally indifferent. .....................................;.
