THE ISRAELI-HAMASS WAR. No one can condone the injuring or killing of innocent civilians in Gaza by the Israeli army. I have always historically condemned the concept of Zionism and the creation of the State of Israel in May 1948. The vote that went in favour of this gross historical and geographical mistake of 1948 at the United Nation was spurred by the USA then the Soviet Union, and was almost unanimous with the exception of the various Arab States. What was voted, in reality, was in favour of a colonial occupation of a land that belonged to the Palestinians Arabs causing the latter to flee in mass and become refugees and exiles in their own country! The UN created this historical and ethnic/religious and geographical/political mess, so they must be the ones to clean it, and not just make resolutions that no one abides to. Having said this, I also strongly believe that there is no solution to the Palestinian problem as long as Hamass is not disarmed. Hamass, which is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood (like Al Qaeda and other radical Islamist groups) is a terrorist organization. Sadly but true, it is constantly using the innocent Palestinian civilians to bring world sympathy and attention to their cause in the belief that this will somehow bring about the end of Israel. To do this, they provoke Israel into an aggressive act against them, but in reality want it to be seen by the world as an act against the Palestenian civilians. They are desperately trying to do this again now with the recent and ongoing rocket attacks on Israel. Everyone can see through this, even most of the Arab States. Let me be very clear on this: I DO NOT SUPPORT ISRAEL. I NEVER HAVE. But I cannot blame it for trying to nuetralize or even eliminate Hamass. The best and ONLY solution now is an immediate CEASEFIRE and for all parties, INCLUDING Hamass, to go the negotiating table at the UN and sort out this mess with goodwill and positivism and, most of all, for the peace and welfare of all inhabitants of this region, whether Muslims, Jews or Christians, who are the real victims of politicians and warmongers.
