THE JOYS OF TRAVEL There are so many beautiful places. They will enchant you wherever you go. I see beauty everywhere I have been. (Its true that some places, not neat and clean.) Lovely old buildings and plants which may grow. Beautiful people from many races. When you talk to people, it becomes clear Their souls are riddled with hatred and fear. Different towns, the landscape may change. Everywhere, churches and castles abound. These symbols of faith! These symbols of war! Millions were slaughtered, perhaps even more Within the churches, no help could be found. The hated foreigner was seen as strange. They guarded their turf like gangs in the street. The migrants invaded just to compete. We may pray for peace but we find instead Paranoia is what governs their lives. Designed as survivors and to that end, They want your dollar so they pretend, But in the back lane beware of their knives! They carry the gene. It’s how they are bred. Of course you can say it’s merely a trend, But how do you know your foe from your friend? They say that travel will broaden the mind. The buildings themselves will raise no alarm. The problem is peoples’ prominent genes. They want their own way no matter the means. At times of crisis they may lose their charm. Such is the true nature of all mankind. It is great to travel but be aware The dark side of mankind is always there.
