Sometimes it’s not,” she responded. Usnavi’s purple eyes lingered on Jane’s face before skimming down to her lips. Jane shuddered as the look continued, unwavering. Usnavi reached out and skimmed a finger under Jane’s chin, tilting her face upward. Zhe took one more step forward and their knees brushed together. Reaching a hand out and wrapping it around the back of her neck, Usnavi leaned down to brush zher lips over Jane’s as softly as a feather.
