THE LUKEWARM CHURCH - PART 21 * LUKEWARM ABOUT SOUL WINNING. * COMMAND OF CHRIST (THE GREAT COMMISSION) - CONTINUATION. We are commanded by Jesus Christ, who is our Sovereign Lord and Savior, to be hot about soul winning. We must obey the command as a way to further express our gratitude for salvation and our love for Him. Matthew 28vs19-20: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Mark 16vs15-16: And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Acts 1vs8: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. It is because someone obeyed our Lord Jesus Christ, so you were able to hear the gospel and be converted into a child of God. When we heed the command to win souls at all costs further reveals we love God; we are appreciative of what He did for us and in doing so also shows that we are wise - Proverbs 11vs30b: He who wins souls is wise. Soul winning attracts eternal reward: The Crown of Rejoicing - 1 Thessalonians 2vs19: For what is our hope, or joy, or Crown of Rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? Soul winning is a spiritual warfare - Matthew 12vs29: Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. The Power of the Holy Spirit is primarily for being witnesses for Christ (Acts 1vs8). Therefore, we must not be lukewarm about soul winning; because it is the heart beat of God. We must be hot, zealous, compassionate, aggressive when it comes to soul winning. The souls of the lost must be won massively for Christ at all costs in the face of challenges, opposition, intimidation, persecution, oppression, suppression, discrimination. .....TO BE CONTINUED.
