THE MIDNIGHT SERMON: I had a chat conversation with a professional earlier this week. He wants to build and mold his business after someone in our industry who charges high ticket prices ($75k) for a year of masterminds. Its a fairly big mastermind and I attended two events at his home a year ago for a decent investment. I asked him Who is coaching you know? His response No one. ISNT IT IRONIC? He wants to charge big money to coach others yet he doesnt have a coach. WHATS THE LESSON? If you want to make big money by coaching or helping others... pay the coach you want to emulate and pay the price to learn the skills and get the power. PAY IT. Another conversation earlier today was someone wanting to play ball at the next level. I asked him Why dont you go and train with Stroshine (the man when it comes to training high school, collegiate and NFL players)? His response: Its out of my budget. Let me get this straight. You want to go and play ball in the highest levels but training with the best is out of your budget. Truth is... Going to law school, med school, dental school, real estate training, body building, triathlon training, NFL etc.forces someone to PAY THE PRICE. And the price is steep for the highest prizes in life. You pay lots of money in faith knowing that the return on the investment will be well worth it. So... ARE YOU LIKE EITHER ONE OF THE TWO INDIVIDUALS I WROTE ABOUT ABOVE? Are you hoping to have big results without paying the price for big results? Not that they are bad people or good people. They are just people. I did what they did back in 2008-2011. I went the cheapskate way. I downloaded the free ebooks, watched all the launch videos, and tried to make big money. I refused to pay money for the coaches that could have really helped me. The joke was on me. My biggest reminder in chatting with them is this... BE WILLING TO PAY THE PIPER. I have invested over $200k in coaches over the past 8 years. Thats really not that much money if your goals are enormous. Seminars, books, programs, home study courses, masterminds, workshops, coaches, etc. etc. etc. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE IT ALL... THEN YOU WILL PAY A PRICE TO HAVE IT ALL. If you are comfortable where you are... great. No judgment here on my part. If youre happy where you are, then I congratulate you. Most people are NOT happy. You get what you deserve because GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED... FOR WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH THAT SHALL HE REAP. So the results you have are the results you absolutely deserve. The same goes for me. I am grateful to my coach, my brother and mentor for his help. God speaks to me through him. Yes it is scary to pay for a coach IF you do NOT fulfill and do the work. If you pay a coach expecting him to do the work, youre better off going to Vegas and betting on black. Coaches wont do the work for you. NO ONE CAN DO THE WORK FOR YOU AND NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU. However... If you know you fulfill and will do the work, and you knew you would get a 5X or 10X return on your investment... wouldnt you invest over and over and over again on yourself? So the real issue is not whether coaching works. The real issue is CAN YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT AND KEEP IT? As one of my mentors taught me a few years ago... THE PIPER WILL GET HIS AND THE PRICE WILL BE HAD.... Now or later... but he will get his. PAY THE PIPER AND GET THE PRIZE.
