THE MODIFICATION OF PAPIS LAW (Must Read): Early in 2011, I postulated a theory which I named the Papis law of diminishing sin, which state that, when more and more of variable factors (sin) are used in conjunction with a fixed factor (man), I.e when a person commit a variety of sin (Lust,theft,immoral acts,Falsification,etc.), initially, the total punishment and average punishment will increase to a point after which the total and average punishments will start to decrease. This Law Was Made On Some Assumptions:1)SIN: This may be in numerous forms, ranging from the smallest to the biggest of all, among which may be : lust, immoral acts, embezzlement, corruption, drunkenness, falsification, et al. 2)MAN: Man in this context could be individuality of man (male or female), the government, Parastatal, business firm, the church, Corporate bodies, a nation, etc. 3) PUNISHMENT: This could be condemnation, bankruptcy (Spiritual, financial), death (Spiritual or physical), Loss of pride and Self-dignity, diseases, etc. HOW DOES THIS WORK: (1) Let take a case study. Case 1: Someone stole something not worth to a thousand naira and he is being beaten to a point of coma. Case 2: Another stole a blackberry phone and he is being beaten to death or set ablaze. Case 3: A minister of the federation was accused for fraud and after like two to three appearances in the court of law, the only thing that could be done was to withdraw the charges against him even though he was found guilty. Conclusion drawn this, Sin rate: Case 1 < Case 2 < Case 3. Punishment Rate: Case 1 < Case 2 > Case 3. As the sin rate increases, from case 1 through case 3, the punishment rate increases from Case1 to 2 but later decrease from Case2 to 3. (2) Take for instance, a man (a male) who starts flirting around with women, fornicating here and there, the punishment starts from his conscience, being convictable and condemned, but if he refute this, by continuing with the deadly sin, the condemnation will increase to a point where and when he will then be comfortable fornicating around. LIMITATIONS TO PAPIS LAW: *Even though Papis postulation has being proven right in some cases, it has not been able to justify some points which made it to suffer some setbacks. *The Papis law is most applicable to Societies such as Nigeria, where there is little or no law, where lawlessness have become the order of the day that even the Law-makers are now the Law-breakers, thinking they have been Law-proved and not for societies where laws and orders are duly maintained. MODIFICATION OF PAPIS LAW: Having suffered much limitations, the Papis law has now been redefined based on studies, teachings, experiences, experiment;close observations and revelation. Papis new Law is otherwise known as Papis law of diminishing dignity, Papis law of non-proportional integrity or Papis second law of Sin, which state that, when more and more of variable factors, I.e Sin (Lust, Corruption, Immoral acts, fraud, falsification, wrath, heresies, strife, lasciviousness, et al. Gal.5:19-21) are used in conjunction with a fixed factor (man; individuality of man, government, business firm, et al.), initially, the total and average dignities/Integrity will increase to a point after which the total and average dignities/Integrity start to decrease.. ASSUMPTIONS FROM PAPIS LAW OF DIMINISHING DIGNITY: 1) SIN: Postulation conditions kept constant with the first law. 2)MAN: Conditions remains the same. (3) SCRIPTURAL BACKUP: Righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.--- Proverb 14:34. 4) PUNISHMENT : In addition to that of the first law, Loss of life, properties and asset, division against oneself, disgrace, et al. PRAGMATICAL APPLICATIONS/EXAMPLES: 1)One of the things the Papis law foreshadowed is a typical example of what is taking place in the society today. A country that has wallowed in corruption and prejudice has come to a place where her dignity has been undermined that she now think, stealing is not corruption and she has lost her judgment sense to the extent that she think 16 people are more than 19 people. She has warred against herself by engaging in seditious acts by striving against her own blood just because of some unethical reasons playing into ethnic/tribal chauvinism and religious jingoism and bigotry as an act of politicking, whereby has become a mockery of others and has lost her integrity. May God Restore her In Jesus name. (2)A business firm or economy that condones embezzlement,falsification of account or other monetary crime, is at the verge of bankruptcy and will lose her dignity and place in the business world and international economy. (3)THE CHURCH: The church has become so worldly and the world has become so churchy that even an angel cannot discern the church from the world. There have been so much heresies, deception and wrong belief that have taken over the church insomuch that church has been cocooned in powerlessness as it is busy with ephemeral things instead of the eternal ones. It is engulfed by so much activities that it has forgotten its main reason of existence and its accountability to the Lord of the church, thereby losing its dignity. If the church is not getting it right, it goes a long way in affecting the society at large. May God have mercy upon his church in Jesus name. FINAL NOTE: You are the salt of the earth but if the salt have lost his savour, where will it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing but be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men-----Matt.5:13. The savour of the salt is its dignity which gives it saltiness, which is its pride. Salt can never taste like sugar nor pepper. But when it is trying to conform to the identity of another substance, it will lose its taste I.e its dignity. May God help us all in Jesus name.
