THE MORNING AFTER*** Abusive relationship comes with so many coloration. Some call it love, some call it commitment, others call it faithfulness to vows and promises. Both women and men suffer from abusive relationship and most will rather have things go on like that than quit and let go. Abusive relationship is when your rights, privileges, freedom and peace is sacrifice to make the relationship work. Many have lost their human dignity and sense of honour in relationship that they think is the best for them. Some cannot simply leave the guy or lady because, according to them, he or she is their God-sent or soul mate. Some are trapped in abusive relationship because of the financial or material gains When your are constantly abused, that is, verbal abuse, physical abuse, emotionally abuse, psychologically abuse, financially abuse or socially abuse, you are in a dangerous relationship. When your so called love or partner, constantly beat you, or blackmail you, or blame you for everything that goes wrong in the relationship, you are in an abusive relationship. When your freedom of movement and association is restricted all in the name of love, you are being abused. The most dangerous position to hold in such ill-relationship is to think you are taking all the shit in the name of love. Well, you must know, love gives more than take. Love do no not hurt. Love is kind and seek the good of others. If you have to give money in other to keep his or her interest in the relationship, you are financially abused. Take a break! Most abusive relationship end up in tragedy. If you are not yet married, you are so free to take the exist door even if your wedding is tomorrow. If you are already married, pray, and pray a lot but seek legal solution and counseling. Abusive relationship is not love.
