THE MURDER OF MICHAEL BROWN BY POLICE According to THE POLICE REPORT, Michael Brown was shot and killed 35 feet from the police officers position, and was unarmed. Thats all I need to know. In order to use any type of Deadly Force, an officer must feel that he, or another, is in reasonable danger of Serious Bodily Injury (SBI), or Death. The officer cannot justify a reasonable fear of SBI or Death, from that distance, from an unarmed person. This is the Achilles Heel in any defense argument. Also keep in mind, an officers testimony should be given no more weight, than the conflicting testimony of a defendant or witness. Sad statement, but true.
