THE NEED FOR CHANGE BIBLE THOUGHT: 2 Corinthians 3:18 As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him (TLB). Did you ever hear about the frog that fell into a big hole and couldnt get out? Several of his friends tried to help, but finally they gave up. Since youre going to be in there for a while; they said, well go and get you some food. but no sooner had they left than the frog came hopping up behind them. We thought you couldnt get out! they exclaimed. Oh, I couldnt, he replied, But suddenly there was a big track coming right at me-and I discovered that I could! Usually its only when were forced to change, that we discover we can! Thats because were more comfortable with old problems than new solutions. If you believe nothing should ever be done for the first time, then youll never see anything done, and nothing will change. Hereto, there are three times in our lives when were most receptive to change.
